Did you know that every three minutes, another woman in the United States is diagnosed with breast cancer? Every three minutes.
My oldest sister Sarah Cook has brought this to my attention. One of her best friends,Kyla, 27 years old was diagnosed with
stage III breast cancer this year. Through supporting her and trying to be there for her this year it has made me realize
how vital new research. Either my sister or I can ignore this shocking statistic. On June 3 & 4, 2006, Sarah well spend the
weekend walking, with Kyla, along with thousands of other people, in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. She will walk at 39
miles and will also raise at least $1,800 in donations to the cause. I have donated and I encourage you to do the same.
This is going to a great cause and if you don't donate to my sister I will push you to donate to another walker.
